A trip downstairs to the oldest chamber in the hotel was a treat of its own, as I couldn’t help but marvel at the extraordinary atmosphere. In the cave-like room surrounded by ancient stones, guests are invited to relax and discover all the Guerlain beauty products. Range of exclusive beauty services are available, as well as the gym, sauna and a jacuzzi designed in an oriental mosaic..
What’s more – breakfast is a treat. From the scrumptious pastry basket to the cheese and exotic fruit selection, everything was fresh and delicious. My favorite part was definitely their famous honey made in their own beehive garden!
The breakfast was wonderful but what I enjoyed more was the scene itself. I loved being in such a warm and inviting atmosphere where I almost felt as if I was having breakfast at a friend’s country house, rather than at a hotel.
The combination of discreet elegance, along with quality service have truly made my time at Relais Christine a special one.
