No trip to London is ever complete without an afternoon tea, because there’s no experience more classically British than a proper cuppa, and this trip was no exception.
Mesmerized by the coziest atmosphere, we headed to the Dalloway Terrace, set in the ever so charming Bloomsbury Hotel in Fitzrovia, just a few minutes away from Oxford Street and Soho..
We decided on the “Candice Brown Afternoon Tea” which is their exclusive afternoon tea menu in collaboration with Candice Brown, the winner of the Great British Bakeoff 2016.
The tea set, as usual, came with various sweets, buttery scones, sandwiches, and a choice of sparkling wine/champagne, but with the culinary touches of Candice Brown herself.
Some unique offerings of this menu include: Peanut Butter & Jelly Profiteroles alongside Lemon, Half Hitch Gin & Poppy Seed Drizzle Cake, Feta & Courgette Scone with Thyme Clotted Cream, and Meringue Kisses filled with Cream, Chocolate & Curd.
More good news: The Dalloway Terrace is also open for all-day dining including brunch, drinks and juices, and more. With the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, this charming spot makes a perfect destination for any occasion, whether it be an afternoon tea experience, weekend brunch with your girlfriends, date night with your beloved, or a festive holiday gathering..
